Menu Plan Monday

Go visit Orgjunkie for oodles of menu plans from bloggers this week.

Monday:

Cincy Chili (with all 5 ways available)
(I use the GoldStar spice packet to make mine; to make from scratch, use this recipe)

Tuesday:

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Egg Noodles and Broccoli

Wednesday:

Shredded Beef Enchiladas
(I use leftover beef from the pot roast; substitute green enchilada sauce for the red and monterey jack cheese for the cheddar -- oh, YUM!)

Thursday:

Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops (or Steaks - on sale at Kroger B1G1Free this week!) + Sweet Potato Oven Chips

Friday:

Pigs in Homemade Blankets with Mac-n-Cheese
(My kids will be thrilled!)

Saturday:

Chicken Tortilla Soup with tons of garnishes

Sunday:

Free Day/Leftovers

*UPDATED*

I've posted the grocery list needed for this menu plan as a GoogleDoc; find it here. You should be able to print it right from your browser.

If you see that I missed any ingredients, please drop a comment or email me; I'll revise the document as soon as possible.

Thanks for reading and subscribing to The New Frugal Mom!

  3. I love your tips! I am a Krogerer too. They made me a fan for life with the personalized coupons I get in the mail.

That pot roast recipe sounds amazing - especially paired with Kroger's BOGO sale on boneless chuck roast this week. Some for now, some for later!

  9. You've really inspired me to not only post my menu plans somewhere but also post the corresponding shopping list.
It's such a blessing for someone going thru a hard time to have such precious tools made available.
