Blog Changes

I'm updating the template/images/sidebars over the next hour or so; if you happen to drop in for a visit, please excuse the mess!!

*Revised, 3/9, 12:39 AM*

I'm done tweaking for the night; I still have several links to add as well as permanent pages to build. I'll be working on it again tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!

  2. Ok, I am still learning how to use coupons and get the best deal -- better late than never! I am trying to understand the matchup ads. When you say price with discount is this before the coupon is added or after?

    Thanks!

  3. Deb: On my Google Doc for Kroger this week, I list the sale price for the Mega Event Items and then the price after the $5.00/10 items (or $0.50/1 item when you buy 10 participating items)is taken off at the register.

Once you use the available coupons on the sale + discounted price, your final price will be much lower.

For example, if you buy an item that is sale priced for the Mega Event at $1.99, then has an additional $0.50 taken off at the register when you buy 10 of the Mega Event Items, the price will be $1.49. If there's a coupon for that item with a value of $0.30/1, then the final price would be $1.19 (or $0.89 if you Kroger or Kroger afffilate doubles coupons).

Thanks for asking -- I really need to specify how I the prices in the Google Doc for Kroger each week. I don't do a "final price after coupon discount" on my ad matchup for Kroger because some Kroger stores double and some do not.

    Will do now!!

And always ask questions! If I don't answer them right away, another reader might chime in with the answer in a comment and help you out!
