A big shout out to alert reader Kristin who left a comment on this week's Let's Go Krogering! post about this current contest at Kroger.com.

I love the images Kroger on their site for this contest; Kroger in HQ'd here in Cincinnati which also happens to be a city just filled with Catholic Parish Festivals during the summer. Ours is next weekend (you can get info about the awesome auction my church does as well as the festival right here) and all the contest images at Kroger.com make me think of festival fun!

I'm going to be offline until late Sunday night; I'm taking my Girl Scout Troop camping. All my freebies from CVS and Walgreens come in very handy for these outings!!

    My $5 win was credited by my next shopping trip, even though it said it may take up to 8-10 weeks.

    I just tried that site, 9:30am EST today, 8/10 and got a message saying "wer'e experiencing techinical difficulties, please try again in a few hours."

    I just accessed my Kroger.com account and opened up the Kroger Sweepstakes page at 11:09 AM EST 08/10.

    I'm betting the word is getting around about the sweepstakes and Kroger.com is experiencing a surge in traffic.
