Money Smarts: Shout Out to

While I am frugal by nature and fairly organized, I am not as methodical as I should or could be in my approach to saving money/earning money.

Sure, I coupon with the best of them and I research my prices before I buy and try my best to buy online through Ebates, Mr. Rebates, or Cashbaq (to learn more about how those sites work, click here). And because I'm not a splurge-spender (and I'm not married to a splurge-spender because it does make a huge difference to be financially compatible in your marriage), I'm fortunate enough to stay on the frugal side of the spending street.

However, I always try to find ways to do more, to save more, to earn more. Don't we all?

So today I want to introduce you to a friend of mine's blog. You may already know her site well but if you haven't read it yet, give yourself some time to click around and see what she does, and does quite methodically, to save and earn money at home.

Money Saving Methods

Carrie at Money Saving Methods is just plain smart at saving and earning and she's constantly posting all the little and big ways she does both at her blog.

She is terribly organized; if you're looking for a way to get as organized as her, read her "Getting Started" guide and take notes.

And because I'm fortunate enough to know her in real life as well, I can attest to her honesty and her integrity.

I'm trying to implement some of the ideas she uses and posts about; I do need to get more organized and methodical myself. If you're interested in doing the same, I recommend reading her site and subscribing to her feed.

Do you know of a smart and money-savvy site you think is shout-out worthy? Leave a comment below and share what you know!
