My Kroger trip, Monday, October 5, 2009:

Saved: $30.73, or 42%

The 10 Item Mega Event returned this week (buy 10 participating items, get $5.00 off instantly at checkout); most of the items featured are frozen foods.

After my plundering trip to Bigg's on Friday for the Triple/Double coupon event, my freezers and my pantry are stocked. I didn't buy much this week at Kroger simply because we don't need it. And I'm curious to see how low I can keep my grocery budget this month - time to challenge myself to do more with less once again. I'll keep you posted!
