I had a $5/$30 coupon (exp 11/14/09) from a Grand Opening newspaper flyer that Aldi had delivered to folks in my zipcode. Knowing from my past experiences shopping Aldi in both central Illinois and in Springfield, Ohio that their prices are already low to start, I grabbed my coupon and made a list of pantry/baking staples to stock up on.
Here's what I bought:

Spent: $28.80
Saved: $5.00, or 15%

While I won't shop Aldi every week, it's nice to have another way to save here in Lebanon during the slower sale weeks at Kroger.

We don't have Aldi in Texas, but it looks a lot like a store you'd buy produce and staples when you don't have a coupon. Very nice!
