A couple of months ago, I toured the new Bob Evans restaurant in Xenia, Ohio, the first build of their new restaurant concept. It has the look of a modern farmhouse (beautiful!) with all the yummy food that you expect at Bob Evans.

Today, I'm reviewing a newer product from Bob Evans, their Bob Evans Single Serving Sides. Can I just say easy + yum = winner? ;-)

My family and I sampled both the Bob Evans Singles Macaroni and Cheese and the Original Mashed Potatoes. We had the Macaroni and Cheese with dinner last Friday night:

That's my plate; my kids were too busy slurping theirs up for me to get a picture of their plates! My oldest two absolutely loved the Macaroni and Cheese; they ate all I had given them (I split one of the sides between my 8 year old and 6 year old) and asked for more. Their nerdy mom was too busy writing down what they were saying to get it for them right away!

From my 8 year old:
It's very rich and really cheesy. It's a taste sensation! (She's a big ham, that girl of mine!)

From my 6 year old:
Mmmmmmm! Goody! It feels yummy in my tummy! Can I have more? (That boy loves macaroni and cheese.)

The mashed potatoes were just as good; I can tell you that I wholeheartedly enjoyed noshing on a *cough* whole single by myself as a late night blogging snack. Talk about perfect comfort food...mmmmm.

I did find it was best to heat the Macaroni and Cheese Single Side on a small plate in my microwave as the cheese sauce gets pretty bubbly while it's heating. And the mashed potatoes fully heat in a minute but they do require a good stirring before gobbling them up serving them.

Bob Evans Single Sides (and all sorts of other yummy Bob Evans products) are available for purchase in the grocery store; to find the Bob Evans products in a store near you, click here.

Want to learn more about Bob Evans Single Sides and how they can help you during the busy holiday season? We have to have green bean casserole too! My DD has asked that I make it for every holiday and her every birthday since she was 8. (She's 20 now!)

Stuffing - my mom always makes the best stuffing. I don't think Thanksgiving would be complete without it.

Because I was a picky eater my Grandpa always made me a baked mac and cheese casserole at holidays. I'm still trying to duplicate that casserole. I get close by there is just something missing.
