Two trips, four transactions. Here's the breakdown of my final totals:
Spent: $11.03
Saved: $95.60, or 90%
Earned: $22 in Register Rewards to use in the coming two weeks
Well, if you haven't headed out to Walgreens this week, you should. The deals are simply *stellar* with several great Register Rewards that offer overage, allowing you to buy a little of this and buy a little of that...and pay just a little bit!
Since I was still in Thanksgiving overload recovery early this week and never got around to posting the best deals for this week, let me link you up to my friend Mercedes at Common Sense with Money who has it all going ON for Walgreens this week!
-> The Best of Walgreens Deals 11/29-12/5
-> Walgreens: Ecotrin Moneymaker Deal
-> The Best of Walgrens Deals 12/2-12/5 (Walgreens released a second midweek ad this week in addition to their Sunday ad which means more deals for us!)
I was fortunate enough to have a Rx Transfer Check for my Walgreens (an extra one is in the picture above) for $25 that was due to expire 12/5; I refilled a needed Rx for my son and used the check to offset my costs on my first transaction which is pictured above on the left. Notice how I bought *lots* of Register Reward items in that transaction so I could keep rolling them?
Unfortunately, my Walgreens was completely OUT of Ecotrin but that's ok. I managed to do pretty well without that moneymaker deal. ;-)
I'm on track for my monthly budget goal for December of $300 for all groceries, household, and OTC medicines. My weekly totals for Kroger, Walgreens, and Alice.com:
Spent: $72.80
Saved: $149.33, or 67%
