Do love finding deals at your Kroger? This feature is for you! Link your post about what deals you found at your local Kroger or Kroger-affiliated store. Simple rules are here; the 149x149 button is in my sidebar. As always, please add a link back to me in your Krogering post.
My Krogering Trip - Monday, January 4, 2010
Spent: $43.21 ($11.34 was the dog food; $31.87 on groceries)
Saved: $61.61, or 59%
Once again, I didn't need too much this week. I've got quite a bit of meat in my freezer from last week's trip to my local Save-a-Lot and we have quite a stockpile of canned goods and crackers/snacks from all the sales in November and December.
I did want to take advantage of the chance to stock up on more dog food this week for our hound while the P &G promotion continues through Sunday 01/10. Buy $25 worth of participating products, get an instant $5.00 off at checkout. This is a *great* opportunity to stock up on your fave P&G brands.
There are also some good deals on citrus fruit (8 lbs bag of grapefruit for $3.88 = $0.48/lb) and a nice little catalina on Kroger Fresh Selections Salad bags (buy any 2, get a $1.00 OYNO catalina). And I found some 1/2 gallons of milk marked down to $0.59 for quick sale; we drink through milk SO fast around here that these are always a great deal for us.
For a full list of all the current catalina deals at Kroger, click here. I'll update it as I find more; if you know of any, please leave a comment with details for the rest of us. ;-)

Rx Transfer Coupon: Transfer your Rx, get a $20.00 credit on your Kroger Card
This was in a mailed Red Plum/Kroger 2 page circular that I received on 12/30/09. There are several other coupons in this little circular, mostly for vitamins and health products (think New Year's Resolution-type items). If you live in my area (greater Cincinnati) and you still have this circular or haven't gone through your mail, be sure to clip this and use it! I refilled one of my son's asthma meds on 12/31 before our health care plan changed and saved myself big $$ on both the meds and with the $20 credit. Woot!
