Hip Hip Hurray Giveaway | Win a Perfect Comforter from Select Comfort (ends 02/26) + Link YOUR Giveaway Post!

I have a terrifically toasty giveaway for you this week!

I was recently contacted by Select Comfort to see if I would like to review their Perfect Comforter.  Since I'm in the middle of the SNOWIEST February on record in the greater Cincinnati area (I think I've personally shoveled more snow this week than I have in the past two winters combined), I was thrilled to give it a try.

You've probably seen the Select Comfort commercials for their Sleep Number beds which allow you and your partner to get the best night sleep by choosing a firmness preference on each side of the bed.  The Perfect Comforter allows you and your partner to choose how warm you want to be while you sleep.  If you're always cold, you can select a heavier weight comforter insert for your side while your partner (who may be a human heater) can select a lighter weight comforter insert for their side.

I opted for a queen sized down Perfect Comforter with medium weight inserts on both sides for my hubs and I.  It arrived with the (2) inserts as well as the queen sized cover.  I timed how long it took me to put the inserts in on each side and get them tied to the interior straps (so they don't shift) and it was just about 15 minutes total.  Not too bad!

While the Perfect Comforter does come with a very nice 300 count Damask Stripe cover, it is white and you'll likely want a duvet cover to coordinate with your bedding/bedroom.  If you're crafty, you can easily sew one yourself from flat bed sheets of your choice; click here for a simple set of instructions on how to do this yourself!

Alas, I had some GREAT pictures (one that had my littlest guy all wrapped up in fluffy white softness of the Perfect Comforter) to share with you but my camera software has decided to malfunction for the time being.  You'll have to take my word that this is a quality product, one that you'll be happy to have during these cold winter nights!  One of the best features is the fact that this is an easy care, machine-washable comforter - both the cover and the inserts.  I {heart} fully machine washable/dryable bedding!

And if you're in the market for a new bed (wow, one of these Sleep Number mattresses does sound delightful!), you can take advantage of this current sale at Select Comfort through 02/21/10:

Through February 21, 2010, you can use the above coupon (code 20379) for these deals:

Onto the giveaway!

  1. OMGoodness this would be a BLESSING in my home. These cold Ohio nights have both my DH constantly adding more blankets and then tossing them off once our body adjusts. Plus the fact that although I'm very young and pretty( You can't see me--LOL LOL) I'm going through the menopause and one minute I'm freezing the next I'm burning up!!!

    Thanks for the chance.

  59. I'm single, but there is definitely a thermostat war going on anyway! I have baseboard heaters in my apartment and it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep it regulated. It's either too hot or too cold. So if I win this, I'll get one side in lightweight and the other side in extra weight, so that way all I have to do is flip it to suit the night temperature! Perfect!
