Prescription Transfer Deals | Walgreens & Rite Aid

There are a couple of new Rx transfer deals available; I thought I'd point you to them so you could use them if you need them.

If you regularly take a prescription medicine or if someone in your family does, taking advantage of Rx transfer coupons (usually for a Gift Card or in-store discount) can be a great way to leverage your prescription spending. If you have to buy that prescription medicine anyways, why not make it the best deal possible, right?

Right now, there are (2) new Rx transfer deals I've seen on the blogs this week:

:: Walgreens - Free $10 store credit with precription refill (Thanks, Common Sense with Money!)

:: Rite Aid - FREE $25 gift card when you transfer a prescription (Thanks, Bargain Blessings!)

Many pharmacies (Kroger, CVS, Wags, etc) will honor competitor's coupons as well; they want to keep your business. It never hurts to simply print these coupons and ask if they'll be honored -- the worst that can happen is they say no. ;-)

  1. Don't you worry about having your prescriptions being filled at different stores? Isn't your pharmacist supposed to watch for drug interactions?
