What I Saved at the Stores {Week 37 of 2010}

Well...I sure have fallen off the wagon when it comes to posting my weekly savings! {blush}

After digging through my archives to see when I had last posted about my weekly deals, I realized the last Saturday I did this we were at the end of Week 24 of 2010.

Um....it's the end of Week 37 of 2010!

So, what happened to those 13 weeks in between?

{Summer with 3 kids followed by the back-to-school frenzy.}

Was I still saving with my piles o' coupons?

{Oh, heck yeah!}

I just fell off the blogging wagon for a bit and you know what?

That's ok.

If your blog isn't paying the bills (and I mean big bills, like putting a roof over your kids head and food on the table ... and mine isn't), then it's more of a hobby/passion than a business/job meaning it's perfectly ok to step away for a while if/when you need the time/space.

And this summer and early fall, time and space is exactly what I needed. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated and inspired again;  this post by Amy who has inspired so many bloggers had a lot to do with shifting my perspective {thanks again, Amy}.

So, with all that being said, here's my savings for Week 37 of 2010.

Walmart
(No picture; grabbed a couple of loose apples as well as the FREE Gain Liquid Dishwashing Soap
while I was there picking up supplies for my Girl Scout troop.)

Spent: $2.44
Saved: $2.00 (44%)

(Get the full details on the coupons I used here in my Let's Go Krogering! post.)

**--------------------------**

Weekly Totals

Spent: $84.80

My weekly goal for my grocery/household budget is $80/week. I'm a bit over this week but I was under last week (spent $70) so it averages out just fine. ;-)
