Coffee & Clicks | September 10, 2011 {Edition #22: Repurposing, Work/Life Balance, Knitting, and Prayer}

Welcome to Coffee & Clicks, my weekly roundup of posts from my Google Reader and beyond that captured my attention.

If you find a few minutes to websurf this weekend while you sip your coffee (or whatever fills your mug), wander through these posts and enjoy reading, reflecting, and relaxing.
1. I absolutely LOVE this headboard that Infarrantly Creative repurposed from a discarded solid wood front door. With all my kiddos back in school all day, I'm definitely feeling the "take on bigger DIY projects" itch and this one is FANTASTIC!

2.  If you're a mom trying to balance family with work (which is pretty much every mom out there), Savvy Blogging published a great post, Constantly Shifting and Conflicting Priorities that really speaks to the reality of navigating the work/life balance while raising children.  Good stuff.

3.  If you're looking to learn how to knit or want to brush up your basic knitting skills, I love thes YouTube video below from Thread Banger.  It's what I used to teach myself a basic knitting stitch.  Now I just need to finish the scarf I started this past spring!

4.  Last, A Holy Experience talks about When It's Hard to Find Time for God and Prayer.  This has been much on my mind lately, particularly in how I/we approach the idea of social media allowing us to be everywhere 24/7; Ann gives voice to it far more eloquently than I could. It's easy to let our sense of importance of the busyness of our lives gets in the way of what really matters.  As always, Ann inspires.

Have a wonderful weekend!
