Let's Go Krogering! | Week of September 6, 2011 {$4/4 P&G Participating Items Mega Event Continues}

Wondering what's the deal with my weekly Let's Go Krogering! (LGK!) posts?  Click here for more information.

Read on to see what deals I found at my Kroger this week...

My Kroger Trip, Monday, September 5, 2011:

Zilch-o! Nothing! NADA!

I headed out to Kroger on Monday afternoon for a couple of the hottest P&G items for the Mega Event which continues through Sunday, 9/11/11: buy 4 participating P&G items, get $4.00 off at checkout. You have plenty of time to gather your coupons or order additional coupons from my favorite clipping service to increase your savings and stockpiling opportunities..

Since I rarely do any "big" shopping on the weekends, I completely forgot that a holiday weekend means an extra day for people to get their shopping done before heading back to work.  My Kroger was jam-packed with shoppers and the few items I had on my list were gone from the shelves.  I'll simply have to try again later this week...when my Kroger is restocked and quiet!

Since I saved a TON at Main Street Market triple coupon event early on Sunday morning and plan to hit Meijer to use my $5 MPerks coupon plus another great high value $$ off coupon for refilling an RX (it printed at the Meijer catalina machine for me a few weeks ago), my grocery list is fairly short.  I may try to hit my local Save-a-Lot later this week to use my $5/$25 printable coupon as well at the end of the week.  It's looking like a great week for me to come way under budget for groceries/household items.  WOOT!

If I do find those hot P&G items at Kroger, I'll be sure to update this post for you so you can get the deals, too.  ;-)

For the full list of ad matchups for this week, check out this post (thanks, Savings Lifestyle).

For the latest Catalina deals at Kroger, check out this post at Southern Savers.

FYI: Kroger stores in the Cincinnati region allow unlimited coupons and double coupons to a *maximum* doubled value of $1.00 (ie: coupons valued at $0.50-$0.99 will double to $1.00).
