Coffee & Clicks | Janaury 14, 2012 {Edition #25: Surviving a Pay Cut, More Pinterest, and Blogging Perks}

Welcome to Coffee & Clicks, my weekly roundup of posts from my Google Reader and beyond that captured my attention.

If you find a few minutes to click around this weekend while you sip your coffee (or whatever fills your mug), wander through these posts and enjoy reading, reflecting, and relaxing.

:: I originally saw a clip of this post about surviving a $70K paycut at Money Saving Mom earlier this week; I was so intrigued that I clicked through from her post to the original post at Work Save Live.  It's worth reading if you need some inspiration about how to learn to thrive during lean times...and then how to  keep that "lean times mentality" when your cash flow improves.

:: Soooo...I finally got my invite from Pinterest this week.  I need to spend a little time this weekend setting up my account and messing around with it a bit.  I actually have a mental list of projects that I want to do in 2012 that would be ideal fodder for creating pinboards.  Pinterest is so functional and fun - it's clearly here to stay and I'm sure will evolve in the coming months.  5 Minutes for Mom had a great post this week about  how Mom Bloggers Pick Pinterest over Google+.  Good reading for anyone interested in social media trends.

:: Last, I really see like this list of 31 Unexpected Perks of Blogging at ProBlogger. Good stuff!

Have a wonderful weekend!
